Fostering Comfortable Learning: Platinum Credit Donates 100 Desks to Kangodo Primary School in Serere District

At Platinum Credit, sustained community partnership is at the heart of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) philosophy. Following our successful construction of a classroom block at Kangodo Primary School in Serere District in 2022, we returned to complete the transformation by donating 100 modern 3-seater desks.

This follow-up initiative ensures that the physical infrastructure built in 2023 is fully equipped to provide a comfortable, dignified, and functional learning environment for hundreds of pupils.

Objectives

  • Complete Infrastructure Delivery: Furnish existing classroom structures to maximize their usability and daily educational value.
  • Support Long-Term Community Partnerships: Demonstrate continuous commitment to beneficiary schools through sustained, multi-phase investments.
  • Promote Educational Equity: Improve classroom conditions in rural Serere District so pupils can study in comfort without physical strain.

Key Benefits

  • Immediate Seating Capacity: Accommodates 300 pupils comfortably, ending floor-seated learning and overcrowding on inadequate furniture.
  • Enhanced Classroom Ergonomics: Proper wooden desks promote good posture, reducing physical discomfort during long study hours.
  • Improved Classroom Organization: Standardized seating allows teachers to organize group activities, navigate aisle spaces easily, and maintain order.

Impact

  • Increased Pupil Engagement: Comfortable seating improves student concentration, attendance, and active participation in daily lessons.
  • Maximized Facility Utility: Fully outfitting the 2023 classroom block turns the structure into a vibrant, high-performing learning space.
  • Sustained Local Trust: Reinforces Platinum Credit’s reputation as a reliable, long-term corporate partner dedicated to community upliftment in Serere.

Platinum Credit remains committed to nurturing the next generation through meaningful, end-to-end educational support. We extend our appreciation to the management of Kangodo Primary School, local leaders in Serere District, and our team members for driving this initiative forward.
